Delivery Charges
Nov 02, 2020 The Sainsbury's website states: 'We are currently limiting our delivery slots to 1 per customer within a 7 day period. This is a temporary measure to help enable more customers to book a slot. Sainsbury's announced in a tweet: 'We are prioritising elderly and vulnerable customers for online delivery slots. 'If you consider yourself to be vulnerable and do not receive an email from us. Apr 07, 2020 Sainsbury's provides home delivery services for customers who spend £40 and above. Also, the supermarket is currently giving priority to elderly customers and those who are disabled.
- Orders under £40 will be charged £7 for standard delivery
- Orders over £40 will vary between £1- £4.50.
- There is no delivery charge for orders over £100 booked for delivery on Monday - Thursday after 2pm, once you have selected your time slot on your summary page it will confirm free delivery.
- Minimum order value £25
- The delivery charge will be confirmed when you place your order.
Delivery Pass
With our delivery pass, you can pay and upfront fee and then pay no delivery charge on your online grocery orders for the next 3, 6 or 12 months.
- Anytime Delivery Pass – 1 free delivery per day, 7 days a week when you spend £40 or more.
- Midweek Delivery Pass – 1 free delivery per day on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays when you spend £40 or more.

Vulnerable Delivery Slots Sainsbury's Slots
Saver slots are cheaper than our standard delivery slots, offering a longer time window of 4-hours or more. Customers with these slots receive an additional notification on the day of delivery informing you of your more precise 1-hour time slot.
