I am in no way a gambler and therefore if it hadn't been for my wife I doubt I would have ever thought about visiting a Casino. Something that people often miss is that this casino is pleasant, the staff are excellent and on the whole it is reasonably priced. The real surprised is just how good the food is. I admit I was expecting pub-grub but I was doing them a disservice. The food is easily on par with some of the best places in town and the same atmosphere that is kept to make you comfy whilst gambling helps to make you relaxed and enjoy your meal. Also if you book through their site they often have an offer with a free £5 bet which is up to £10 at Christmas and New Year.

A relatively small casino, the Genting Casino Leith is situated near a large set of leisure developments in the dock area of Leith, a district north of the city of Edinburgh. It is close to where the Royal Yacht Britannia is berthed and you are able to overlook the water whilst playing.
By car, follow signs for Leith, North Edinburgh and the Royal Yacht Britannia and you will find the casino has ample free parking. The nearest train station is Edinburgh Waverley which is just over two miles away though if you don’t fancy the walk the numbers 11, 22 and 35 buses also link the casino and the city centre. The casino is approximately a 40 minute drive from Edinburgh airport. Nearest hotels are the Holiday Inn Express Waterfront, the Malmaison and the Premier Inn although you could take your pick of hotels in the city centre which is a 10 minute drive away.
Live gaming starts at 5.00pm at the Leith casino where they play all the classic games at six American roulette tables, three blackjack tables, two three card poker table, one baccarat table and one mini baccarat table.
